Seeweb expands its data center and opens a new space in Frankfurt.

Seeweb continues its policy of investing in offering cloud services. The company possessing 3000 GB and 8000 GB of RAM CPU to use on its cloud infrastructure which is spread over 16 clusters and 2 data centers. The objective of Seeweb is to double by this year end through the expansion of the two data centers in Milan and Frosinone, and the acquisition of a new space in Frankfurt.

“IaaS solutions have proven the most appreciated and requested, so that today it represents more than 80% of the choices of our customers,“ said Antonio Baldassarre, CEO of Seeweb.

For the expansion of the data center in Milan, Seeweb has already purchased a new space – which will be ready by the end of 2011 – aims to reach a total capacity of 2 MW and will host a cluster of machines dedicated to cloud computing. Even the space in the data center of Frosinone is nearly saturated and is therefore already under way to identify a new complex.
