Two acquisitions for Riverbed Technology and Zeus Aptimize

The optimization of web content and traffic management for virtual environments and cloud computing in the viewfinder Riverbed. Riverbed Technology has acquired Aptimize, a company active in the optimization of web content, and Zeus Technology, a provider of solutions for load balancing and traffic management for virtual and cloud environments.

The New Zealand Aptimize constitute the core of the new division of the Riverbed Optimization Web Content occupying area of technology that allows customers to make faster internal web applications, like Microsoft SharePoint, and external, such as e-commerce sites. The solution is usually implemented by the controllers of WAN optimization and application delivery (ADC) to boost performance. As stated in a note, “the technology developed by Aptimize arranges and resizes the content meets the user and adapting to the place from which you are viewing, in order to provide a more efficient, and up to four times faster, regardless of platform. “Aptimize combine two powerful technologies and Riverbed for application acceleration inside and outside the firewall.”

Even Zeus Technology becomes a new business unit at Riverbed. English Zeus Technology Zeus was a pioneer in the development of application delivery controller (ADC) based on software. The Virtual ADC Zeus supports the widest range of hypervisors, including VMware, Xen, KVM and HyperV.
